You couldn't pay me enough to go out there tomorrow with all them crazy women shoppers  Have you ever been in a casino and sat in the wrong seat when they're playing 3 slots at once, almost got my a** kicked by the little old blue head   Although Home Depots got some good deals going on, saw a Dewalt 18V cordless drill for $99.00 in todays paper. I'll play it safe and shop online :D

My mother has an itinerary... I'm not kidding. She has a list with all the places she wats to go with times written down for the best places. :P

I remember the store manager at Zayre's with the bat in his hand when the Cabbage Patch Kid craze was on. I believe my aunt has a real one of those purchased before they were mass produced, probably worth a fortune.

Here I sit, 4AM. Plenty of time to get to the 5AM stores. I just went to all the .com's and looked... I see nothing worth the effort.... other than maybe that cordless drill.

They were showing the nuts on the morning news already. I think last night they were talking to some guy or guys camped out in front of Best Buy (I think) in a tent. Was that you Richard? You said you like to go camping. All this just to spend my hard earned money? I think not.

Something is wrong with the computers at Sears this morning at the King of Prussia Mall. They had the police there for crowd control. I sat there watching this unfold on channel 29 news while I sat near my Mark III. and kept warm.

The neighbors were up and making noise at 2:30 this am. I saw them leave at 2:45. Had the dog all wound up so, I let him out to "yell" at them. They even took their small kids with them. I do 99% of my shopping on-line. No need to fight those nasty people that way. :smoke:

My mother was a manager at Zayres for many years until they were bought out by Ames. When under Ames she transfered to Lakewood New York for a couple of years and then retired do to health problems. I used to go to work with her at Zayres once in a while to be the shopping cart wrangler. I liked to sit up in the one way glass observation room and watch the people shopping. You see a lot of funny *censored*. And a lot of hot babes. I remember the cabbage patch craze.
I never really liked zayres as they were mainly a clothing store. Kind of like Target is today. They had an automotive and sporting goods section but it was small and kind of sucked. I remember when Zayres had a "pong" game set up in the electronics dept. It was a big deal to play pong. When I look at it now that was sure a shitty little game compared to the PS3 that we have now.

A part time employee was trampled to death in the entrance way by shoppers at a Wal Mart on Long Island this morning as they broke down the door. They even ran over the cops trying to save the guy's life. Must have been some great deals there.

Never fails, every year, it is a shame. I hope it was worth the $29.00 Blu-Ray.
Black Friday and hurricanes are so predictable. Why don't people buy their plywood to cover their windows and doors in the hurricane off season?

Online next to my warm stove is the way to shop.

What a mess. The saddest part of it all is that the gremilins that are out that early in the morning shopping for deals generally don;t have the money to be shopping in the first place. Next year I am proposing each and every person who decides to shop on Black Friday wears a sign over thier heads that indicates how much credit card debt they are currenlty in.

The Wal-Mart story is horribly sad. Poor guy was trying to make money to buy Christmas presents this year.

Saddest part - all of the crap that was on sale today will remain on sale until December 24th.
