Grease Fitting on My Stove

hello everyone first year with my alaska hearth stove, wife and I just love it , I have a question about the grease fitting that controls the coal anyone grease the fitting during the burn season? or is this something you grease from season to season? thanks scott

I usually grease it mid season and aftre spring clean up

I usually grrease mine at the end of the season.
