From this summer.
My friend feeds them corn. I don't agree with feeding them; but it's not my property. That's pumpkin, the most cantankerous cat, loves his owner but hisses at me.

 :woot: If that was my cat, he'd be on that doe's face! :D :D

I lent my generator to my neighbor for a few hours at a time after our 'national-news-breaking- ice-storm' that knocked down powerlines for 3 days.......& I reaped the benefits in VENISON!! YUM!

I would be a hunter if I didn't work -- I have to nearly fistfight management for a friggin' day off, nevermind an entire week!!! :mad3: :mad2:

I use to hunt a lot but I've fallen out of it a bit recently. My crowning achievement would be the 8 point I've got up on my wall... It's nothing special, but for a west Texas deer, it's nice.

He made some great deer sausage that's for sure :)

West Texas? Is he a Mulie? I did some hunting in New Mexico and got a Mule Deer. Small deer, but big rack.

I hunt mainly for the meat also. Would love to see a trophy but I don't usually wait around for one.

Here is a 4 pt I got on the 1st day of archery this year.

I'm not a deer hunter but earlier this week I was in Wisconsin with my wife visiting her mother who's in a nursing home. While there we took a trip to Eden, WI, the small town Julie lived until fifth grade. We stopped at the butcher shop, the only grocery store in town. They were busy butchering deer. They butcher 1200+ a hunting season. The shop's owner new Julie's father and grandfather, the town MD. He gave us a tour. Beef and deer hanging ever where. The photo shows one deer who's rack is going to be mounted.
