 I've done many things to prevent spam posts and for a while it seems it went away but in the last few weeks it seems to be cropping it's ugly head again. If you come here regularly and come across any of these posts please use the blue button on the top right of the post to report any posts that are spam so I can remove them as quickly as possible. This sends me an email to notify me of the post.

One thing to note, do not follow any of the links posted by these spammers even if you are just curious to see what it is. It's entirely possible for the page to contain malicious code that you are being directed too. In most cases your anti-virus software or other security measure you have taken should pick this up but that's not guarateed.

I seem to have permanently fixed the spam problem. For whatever reason it seems that many phpbb forums were getting hit with a wave of spam postings. Anyhow the fix was simple, I added a "human" question to the registration page. Example: What color is an apple? .... Nearly impossible for a bot to get by that. 8)
