The COAL-TROL is AWESOME!!!!!  :dancing: I highly recommend purchasing this product! My wife even loves it!! Well, I don't have to tell you guys that when the wife approves, you definitely have a winner!! :inlove: I would like to thank Neil at COAL-TROL and his staff for designing this absolutely wonderful product. The service and time they provide over the phone with their customers is second to none! The COAL-TROL operates exactly as described. Keeping the house within one degree of the thermostat setting. I am simply amazed how the COAL-TROL performs. It makes my coal furnace act just as I was running my conventional gas unit but better. All even temperatures throughout the house and no too cold or over shoots. I did follow Neils suggestion to remove the Reading Tri-burner fan wheel and put a separate combustion blower fan attached to the stoker. I have to say that the Reading Tri-burner burns the coal much more completely after this modification. I notice it especially during low or no demand for heat. The combustion blower I chose is 60CFM and has an adjustable fan flap on it. The flap on the fan has allowed me to fine tune the combustion of the coal with relation to the needed demand for heat for the milder weather usage. It takes a little time for the initial setting and calibration of the stoker stroke with the feed nuts if you have two stokers. The stoker motors may run just a little different from one another. So adjusting the red feed nut on the stoker stroke maybe necessary to get them to fire in unison. Also the COAL-TROL is capable of adjusting it's thermometer reading to read the same as your conventional furnace thermostat reading. That is truly a fantastic option. I can't say enough about this product! I'm using less coal than ever and the house's temperature is always exactly where you want it. Thank you Neil at COAL-TROL. A JOB WELL DONE  :D KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! DOUG

Congrats! We like ours too. The wife doesn't mess with it except to turn it up. I am always fiddling with the blowers to raise the temp faster when we get home, but it does the job well! and yes, Neil/Paul are very helpful. :)
