Kiddie make a good one, First Alert, I think I have a combo of a few different ones, and they all work well, especially opening the door, sets the one off by the stove. I would get a digital one so you know what the CO levels are all the time.

I bought two First Alert Onelink wireless smoke and co alarms. I put one in the basement by the boiler and one in our bedroom. If one goes off the other does also. Since we sleep on the 2nd floor I would never hear the basement alarm otherwise.
Here is a link.

Kidde Nighthawk with Digital Display. It alarms at lower detection levels than other CO detectors. You can also push a button and see if there has been any co detection at all. Runs on AC power with a battery back up. Have one by stove plus the one LL sends with all their stoves. Plan on another Nighthawk for 2nd floor as well.
