We had -25 here one morning about 12 years ago. I was staring at the thermometer in disbelief. Up in Hainesville the low was -37. I stayed home that day, none of the vehicles would start.

I went snowmobiling up in Maine a few years back with a buddy from work. I forgot the exact town # but it was a 12-14 hour drive from central Connecticut. We rode the trails for a couple hours one day when it was just -10. The next morning it was -40 something, I pulled the rope to start the sled and gave up and went back inside. I couldn't pull it over, everything was frozen including me ;)

Hi Sterling
How much snow do you have?
Are the trails open yet?
I might be there the same time as your new boiler riding the trails.

The best part about the cold is it keeps the Democrat from moving up to the Countie.
You know MA starts just south of Bangor

Best of luck Ill let you know when I am I Town!

Hey Doug,

Trails are OPEN!! The groomer has been out everyday for the past week or so. We got at least a foot of snow. Probably more. It's hard to tell how much cause of the blowing and drifting. When I left work last night at midnight, I had the truck in 4 wheel drive and going about 30 mph. The roads were just terrible and it was whiteout conditions. Should be great snowmobiling for you next month. It's funny how I live in one of the best areas in the country for snowmobiling and I don't own one. BTW if you see my K6 on your way up, grab it and go! PM me before you head up.

Bob

Bob is so far North when he goes south for the winter he doesn't make so far as Boston!

Winter is here. Headed below zero again tonight. Wicked windy too.
