Its bent because it went beyond design tempature.
To rebend would mean revisiting a bad place...more broken parts.
Forge and proper heat treatment or $120...I'll go with the cash for a good part.

I already found that out this morning when I tried taking it out with heavy gloves on and another leather glove as an oven mit to hold it. And the heat was coming down. Its a bitc- to get it out. I CANT even imagine trying to get it out red hot! It actually has a small fracture a little off center on the bottom. I bet it would snap right there if I did even try it somehow.

What kind of metal would work if I had my friend make one? he is a furniture maker and he works with steel.

VERY thick and Heavy metal.... The Iron can cycle heat for a real long life. Steel would want to be quite a bit thicker and thus maybe the bucktwenty wont seem as high after shopping for unsized thick steel? alas it is just a baffle so several thinner FREE pieces might compensate? :D
