Next I called the factory but no concrete date or time was provided.Yes they had the order, yes they had the model I requested on the dealer order form. All information was correct. That in itself was a good sign. They could only say that they were working hard at the orders with all available manpower. They come across as a solid company with a good product that just got caught in an avalanche, likeable folks. At this point I am not sure if I would rip into the system to put in a boiler in the middle of winter anyway. We have waited so long now that all I am beginning to become concerned about is that they get it right and with all the correct parts when it eventually leaves the factory.I rather believed since I placed the order that I would be cranking the 1 1/4 fittings together on the boiler at the same time I was plowing the garden for the peas.I am now beginning to gather all the locally purchased items necessary for the installation. So don't give up and cancel now ,you are too close and have a time investment in it too. regards, Mike
These are wise words. I finally installed a 20 year old KA-4 (thanks flyer5), and I love it! It's a heating machine so far. I don't see myself needing anything major for this thing for many years to come. I think any stoker boiler or auger boiler is worth the wait at this point! Don't give up! Oil will go back up, be prepared!
Oh and the power went out for 1.5 hours while I was at work, when I came home the fire was still going
