Good game. Now if the Steelers can continue the trend of the home team losing, it will make my day.

1. Does the possibility of an all-PA Super Bowl (in Tampa) worry the TV marketeers?

2. Do I give a s#!t? :no2:

17 seconds of offense in the 3rd quarter. Unbelievable. Steelers look good no doubt. Don't buy your superbowl t shirts just yet though. There's gonna be some football in pburgh next Sunday! Hopefully the Ravens D will show up. They missed most of the Titans game.

2-2 last week but got the most important game right.

I think the Eagles beat the Cardinals in a blowout. Warner can't play under pressure and I think Jim Johnson will blitz Warner into retirement. Besides, it's payback for the 02 NFC Championship when the Rams downed the Eagles in St. Louis. That, if you remember, was the "greatest show on turf." I think there was much more talent on that team then what Warner has now not to mention he is much older. I know it's hard to compare 02 to 09 but I am doing it to satisfy my argument. :D

I am going against my gut and picking the Steelers so I keep everyone happy. I would love to see an all PA Superbowl just to piss everyone off around the country. It will, of course, be the lowest rated Super Bowl of all-time and I love that as well.

GO PA!!

I'd be a little more cautious. There's a guy named Larry Fitzgerald on the Cards. His is the best wide receiver in football right now. He cannot be covered the entire game, not even with two d-backs. The other two guys Hightower & Boldin are quite good too. The the Cards defense is playing out of their heads right now. Warner when he has time will eat up any defense in the NFL. If the Eagles can't get a pass rush without blitzing, I fear an lost for the MeanGreen. If the Eagle's blitz often, I fear Warner will hit hot receivers all day.
Larry Fitzerald leads the league in yds this post season. E. James is 2nd in rushing with Highwater 4th in rushing this post season in the playoffs. Warner is 3rd in passing in the playoffs only a handful behind McNabb.

Cards offense averge 358 yds per game, Eagles 313 yds per game in playoffs.
Cards defense have 7 interceptions to Eagles 2 interceptions. Cards have 5 sacks, Eagles 1.
Turnovers, Cards +7, Eagles +1

This game is not over before it has been played. The Cards smoked Carolina & Atlanta and the Falcons were a hot team at the time. Wake up folks. This is gonna be a high scoring game, I'd bet the over. Total 47
The line is Cards +4. I believe it started at +3. The betting public is betting Eagles. The betters are usually wrong. That's how the bookies make the money.

I don't know if it really matters what bird flies. We all know what happens to birds when they hit a piece of Steel. They don't fly too good anymore. Just thought it was comical. Go Stillers! Pittsburgh slang for Steelers. :) DOUG

I agree with my friend and motorcycle comrade Cap: Larry Fitzgerald (out of UPitt, IIRC) is on fire. If there's a better receiver in the NFL right now, I'd like to know who he is.

I take no Iggles game for granted and I'd be happy if they were dogs in every one of them.

And that's because I want them to win. :shh:

Wow. As bad as the Eagles Offense has played and they only average 45 yards less then the cards with their “historic playoff offense.” Let’s keep in mind that it’s only been 2 games at which time the Cards beat a decent Atlanta team with a Rookie QB and managed to win by grabbing 6 turnovers vs the Panthers.

A few Key Points:

Don’t look for Mcnabb to throw 5 picks.
Dawkins will hit Fitz and make him think twice about leaving his body exposed going for a catch.
Westbrook will have a breakout game.
The Eagles will blitz and confuse Warner. They don’t necessarily have to get to him but just rattle him. We will throw 2 picks.

Maybe I am wearing green glasses but I see the 2 games the cards played as a fluke, not as a championship run.

Another point as well. You can say they are a "different" team now but Super bowl teams don't lose like this.

Week 16 - Loss to New England 47-7
Week 15 - Loss to Minnesota 34-14
Week 13 - Loss to Philadelphia 48-20
Week 4 – Loss to Jets 56-35

In fact the only team they blew out was their division rival St, Louis Ram by scores of 34-13 & 34-10.

The Eagles only had 1 game vs Baltimore where they didn’t show up which was a 36-7 drubbing.
