I think the Eagles beat the Cardinals in a blowout. Warner can't play under pressure and I think Jim Johnson will blitz Warner into retirement. Besides, it's payback for the 02 NFC Championship when the Rams downed the Eagles in St. Louis. That, if you remember, was the "greatest show on turf." I think there was much more talent on that team then what Warner has now not to mention he is much older.
I'd be a little more cautious. There's a guy named Larry Fitzgerald on the Cards. His is the best wide receiver in football right now. He cannot be covered the entire game, not even with two d-backs. The other two guys Hightower & Boldin are quite good too. The the Cards defense is playing out of their heads right now. Warner when he has time will eat up any defense in the NFL. If the Eagles can't get a pass rush without blitzing, I fear an lost for the MeanGreen. If the Eagle's blitz often, I fear Warner will hit hot receivers all day.
Larry Fitzerald leads the league in yds this post season. E. James is 2nd in rushing with Highwater 4th in rushing this post season in the playoffs. Warner is 3rd in passing in the playoffs only a handful behind McNabb.
Cards offense averge 358 yds per game, Eagles 313 yds per game in playoffs.
Cards defense have 7 interceptions to Eagles 2 interceptions. Cards have 5 sacks, Eagles 1.
Turnovers, Cards +7, Eagles +1
This game is not over before it has been played. The Cards smoked Carolina & Atlanta and the Falcons were a hot team at the time. Wake up folks. This is gonna be a high scoring game, I'd bet the over. Total 47
The line is Cards +4. I believe it started at +3. The betting public is betting Eagles. The betters are usually wrong. That's how the bookies make the money.
