Week 16 - Loss to New England 47-7
Week 15 - Loss to Minnesota 34-14
Week 13 - Loss to Philadelphia 48-20
Week 4 – Loss to Jets 56-35

In fact the only team they blew out was their division rival St, Louis Ram by scores of 34-13 & 34-10.

The Eagles only had 1 game vs Baltimore where they didn’t show up which was a 36-7 drubbing.
Bet the bank account if you are that sure. I'm an Eagles fan, big fan since I was 10. The lost to Tampa Bay in 2004 taught me a huge lesson.
If you recall, the Eagles had already beaten them easily that season. The NFC crown was a lock. Tampa comes to Vet ( last game), frigid temps, Tampa never wins on road, yada, yada, yada. Tampa went on to win SB. Ask me if you think the Eagles can win? My answer is YES. Ask me to be confident and talk the talk, I'll take a step back and consider the stats. This will be a high scoring game. The team that scores 30pts will win.

IMO, Cap's got it again.

Iggles (and Phils historically, to my memory) seem to win when they're dogs, but not when they're expected to.

Never count your chickens; to win, Iggles always have to feel like and play like dogs.

Right. But this season the Eagles were not expected to do anything once they squeaked into the playoffs. This will be the first game they actually are favored to win. Phillies won the series so anythign can happen in this town now. I'll take all the Tampa stuff and work that vodoo on the birds.

Here are some scary "trends" going against the birds.

The home dog in NFC championship games is 4-0 all time. To add to that playoff teams that win a game that they are a 7 point+ underdog are 7-0 the week following if they lose. 11-0 is a nice streak to run into and break.

Next Stop Tampa. And looking ahead we might even pick up the Stanley Cup this year.

From your lips to God's ears.

I'll be a Flyers fan to my last breath, because they were the first team in my lifetime whose ownership brought to Philly the goal to be a serious contender, year in and year out. (During the 60's, the Eagles and Phils were both abysmal, and the Warriors left town.) And to Fred Shero, Clarkie and Bernie Parent, who imbued the franchise with the toughness, work-ethic and top-notch goaltending which, for the most part, have been its signatures through the years. :flex:

That's the point I've been making and that was the game where they benched McNabb. The Cincinnati game comes to mind too simply because Cincinnati sucks but other than those two games they only lost by a few points to some very good teams.

STL 3 @ PHI 38

PHI 37 @ DAL 41

PIT 6 @ PHI 15

PHI 20 @ CHI 24

WAS 23 @ PHI 17

PHI 40 @ SF 26

ATL 14 @ PHI 27

PHI 26 @ SEA 7

NYG 36 @ PHI 31

PHI 13 @ CIN 13

PHI 7 @ BAL 36

ARI 20 @ PHI 48

PHI 20 @ NYG 14

CLE 10 @ PHI 30

PHI 3 @ WAS 10

DAL 6 @ PHI 44

Other than the Ravens game anyone of those losses could have went the other way and in some cases almost did.

End of the 3rd quarter:
The Eagles will win.
McNabb is heating up and the Cardinals defense thought they only had to play 3 quarters.

We've just seen Donovan's last game as an Iggle. Too bad.
