Went to fire up the vf 3000 for the first time and it wasn't feeding coal. Upon further inspection the pusher block is siezed from being out of use. Hit it with some penetrating fluid but it doesn't want to budge.

Is it the pusher or the mechanism that pushes seized? I would take it apart and wire wheel it, maybe you will get lucky!

That sucks

Remove cover, remove wing nut, adjuster, and adjuster tube. Remove motor mount with motor in place and cord still attached. Swing pusher assembly up as high as it will go. Remove feed indicator from side with Allen wrench. Now the pusher block can be removed. To reinstall -- just reverse the procedure.

Thanks, I got it out . The pusher motor is fine . I'm going to clean lube and reinstall.
