The colder air is denser and contains a higher level of oxygen than the warmer house air too. This is why car engines perform better with a cold air intake. More OX= more power/heat.

Pretty difficult to neatly make it so the front attaches to a 4" pipe.

Your outside air duct does not have to physically connect to your blower, just getting it close to the fans intake will do it the trick if need be.

Just completed the cold air intake mod. I will add it to my stoker build thread that is in this same forum. I took pictures for those interested!
