Does anyone have a SWG power vent? I need to get the info on how to clean the vent and oil it, and how often it should be done. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

When using for oil, if they don't vibrate they don't need cleaning. I'm guessing the same for coal. As for oil, IF the motor has tiny plastic caps on each end of the motor, located on top of each end, pop the caps off & two drops of lightweight oil once a year. If no little caps, it doesn't need oiling. Most do not need oil.

The cleaning, I doubt the manual says how. Just unplug, dive in until you get inside and clean as you see fit. It's a royal pain to clean the fan.

http://www.fieldcontrols.com/instructionmanuals.php

Scroll to SWG Powervent and select your model. The manual is in a PDF file.
