Electric drag racing has been around quite a while. The problem isn't go fast, it's last long. Remember a drag strip is only a quarter mile.

Electric have all the torque up front, the gas engine has to go up to a certain rpm to get max torque....

Here a few others that pretty cool in all electric!!
