I'm looking at a D.S coal stove, but it has no blower. These stoves use natural draft sys. Is this a big deal, is a blower a must?

The blower will do two things for you it will wash alot of the heat off the stove into the room where you want it
second it will help keep the stove running at a cooler temp . Is the D.S stove a double wall stove can you put a fan on the back if so you can buy a blower fan from this place .

Don;t confuse the "Convection" blower that moves the heat into the room with a COMBUSTION blower that pushing air under the coal to keep it burning. All stoker type stoves have combustion blowers, they do not rely on Natural Draft like hand fired stoves.
