The blower will do two things for you it will wash alot of the heat off the stove into the room where you want itpaisaon wrote:I'm looking at a D.S coal stove, but it has no blower. These stoves use natural draft sys. Is this a big deal, is a blower a must?
second it will help keep the stove running at a cooler temp . Is the D.S stove a double wall stove can you put a fan on the back if so you can buy a blower fan from this place .

Don;t confuse the "Convection" blower that moves the heat into the room with a COMBUSTION blower that pushing air under the coal to keep it burning. All stoker type stoves have combustion blowers, they do not rely on Natural Draft like hand fired stoves.
