Jamesway.... tell me all about it.

OK... just found it's way into my hands. What do you know about it? It's got some sort of thermostatic draft control. It looks to control not only incoming air, but a baffle on the exhaust! The grates appear in perfect shape. It needs some TLC, perhaps a complete dis assembly, sandblast, cement, paint. It's cute!

Here is a link to an old ad from Fulton, NY. The ad is in the middle of the page. I couldn't quite make out the date. I think this is it! Fred you have a rare unit it seems!

That's odd. Richfield Springs, NY is about 10 minutes from where I work. Stop freaking me out!

Nope, that's a 944. I found it this summer & picked it up for a song. It's not running, but once cold weather get's here I'll spend a few nights & see if I can tinker it into shape.

A brooder! It's funny how the brain works....or doesn't... it has a 1/2" mesh screen that covers the air inlet. When I first saw it I thought it looked like chicken coop "dust", but didn't say anything. I guess it IS chicken leavings.

Foiled again... I forgot about the 944's (and the 924's). The black near the fenders is what through me off. Well, best of luck to you getting her fixed up and running. Should be a fun Sunday driver.
