In addition to what's in the above post, I've had the same dealers sell me a Metalbestos anchor plate as a ceiling support plate, say the chimney doesn't need to be enclosed when the installation guide clearly says it needs to be, and imply the ceiling support plate is only held in place by the 4 corner holes. I'm NOT impressed!

Your right!!!!!!!!! I have three HArman stoves, good stoves, but every time I require parts there is a 1 to 2 month wait, that's months not weeks. Of three dealers I can call on, none give a sh*t. There will not be another one.
I had the same (bad) experience. I bought replacement firebricks from two different dealers. Neither set fit right. I was put in touch with the regional Harman rep and e-mailed him pictures of the problem. I was totally ignored except for him to say "They should fit". Then he asked me why I was buying the bricks anyway, and I told him I was replacing multiple cracked bricks. He told me to just use furnace cement to repair them.
So not only did he not give me any resolution to my problem, he killed any future sales of bricks!
