obama gun ban

obama gun ban

PostBy: danzig On: Thu Jan 22, 2009 4:50 pm

It is true it is even listed on the Obama Administration website. The assualt weapon ban is going to be pushed (part of his policy) and all guns are going to be made "child safe".

He is only 2 days in and it all ready stinks.

Anybody want to wager beats on (say it is not so) Joe or the Big O (o my god did I vote for this a$$)

How long before the Towel heads get a crack at this joker?

My guns are already child safe. I teach children which end NOT to look in.

I received this email recently. I checked out the link and then went to the PA House/Senate web sites to confirm. It's legit. The push has been on for a while now. Obama will further the cause with little effort.

Subject: Ammunition Accountability Act

Subject: : Ammunition Accountability Act

The 2008 Legislative session has begun, and the Ammunition Accountability Act is being introduced across the country. Below is a list of states
where legislation has already been introduced: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm
Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture, a data
base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand-loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! Please give this the widest distribution possible and contact your Reps!

You guys are all worried about Mr Obama taking the guns? Its not going to him...It will be some little weasel guy like Waxman of the baseball "hearings " fame trying to make some thunder for all the sheep at home.
The gun legislation will be slipped into some other bill and it will pass unnoticed by (or at least they want you to believe "that" kinda like "ooops" didnt see it coming sorry bout that"
Anyone of the california crowd will be more than happy to take your guns or bullets away makes no difference which one first.

If you wanted an AR-15 the time to buy was in 2006. The prices are nuts right now. If you really need a military type semi-auto I would buy a stock Romanian, Yugo, or Russian SKS as they aren't considered an "assault weapon" due to the fixed magazine so the gun grabbers won't bother you about it. Just be sure to shoot off all my ammo before July 1 2011  What worries me is the talk about banning "cop killer" bullets. That can mean any hollow point bullet, or even a soft point. If they also ban the "Armor Piercing" bullets which basically are full metal jacket and steel core what's left?

Go to the state gov web sites and read the proposed legislationg. It's gaining momentum at least in PA. It's not internet junk. Wake up and smell the coffee... or maybe what you should be smelling is the Euroweanies in an all out American freedom grab. Your freedoms are quietly slipping away and no one is noticing. If they are noticing then they are sitting on their hands.

This is the scariest thread in here.

I live in NJ, if I want a gun permit I'll need a lawyer and lots of money. I was in an alcohol rehab when I was a young stupid kid. No criminal record. Law abiding citizen. Haven't touched the stuff in decades. This came up when I applied a couple times and I gave up.

I just rejoined the NRA, best I can do to support the 2nd amendment.

When they start disarming the population it's a scary thing.

No more Gitmo detainees, let's give our enemies a box lunch and a first class ticket back to Islamabad.

Wait 'till they start taking apart our nuclear arsenal.

this is the time of the euro weenie and the towel head. They are going to put a hold on us for a while. By the way call you congressman and senator fast. Guns and ammo are not the only things going away. Jobs are and fast if they pass the new crazy emissions bill (worse than the keyoto agreement) What industry left is gone. Also take huge inflation on its way in 2 years , some serious bleeding in deed. They are forcasting steel to be really high ( back to the 70's again).
