Congressional Medal of Honor winners are soldiers who served the United Stated with extreme distinction and valor. The CMH is the highest honor in the US.

I know what the CMH is, Mike. All I wanted to know was whether the term you used, "Soldiers of Valor," was a term of art of some kind. Apparently it's not, in which case I stand by my position.

The rest of the sermon is your opinion. Mine is based on my belief that actions speak louder than words, and that the real action of appointing General Shinseki to put things right at Vets Affairs after the horrendous stewardship of the past Administration is a far more important act of support for veterans than 15 minutes of attendance at some Inaugural Ball, and that the hype over the Ball is just that. Hype.

I just checked on the Army Times & there was no mention of anyone feeling slighted. They did mention that the ball almost wasn`t because of funding, the VP made an showing as did Nancy Pelosi, most of the guests were wounded vets brought in from Walter Reed (not saying that each & everyone of them is not a hero). The artical made no mention of M of H winners,
(again not saying they weren`t there) but I don`t think there are alot living. The Tuskegee airmen were there for the first time, perhaps BO wasn`t there because of the ball almost being cancelled ( I don`t know) but no mention of his not showing was printed.

Since it came from a right wing rag, I doubt very strongly that it is, in fact......accurate. Show me a NY Times article or even a Wall Street Journal article agreeing with that & I'll stand corrected. (it still wouldn't prove anything involving his intent (Snubbed) but I doubt that it is even true, regardless)

Right.Like the NY Times would write something critical of a Leftie.

It's done by accessing the alternate keyboard characters. Hold down the "ALT" key and type a three digit number on the numeric key pad (not the numbers above the keyboard letters). Let go. You will get a optional character. I forgot how to get a complete list of what's available.
