How many lbs of coal must burn to filll an ash bucket?

I understand that coal can burn differently from different mines. I'm burning coal from Blashaks. Does anybody have any idea on how much coal must be burnt to generate enough ash to fill the bucket in a 520? Thanks.

What is you feed rate set at that will determine how many lbs of coal per hr your burning and how many times does it fire to make heat in a day.The more coal that you burn the more ash you will get . You can base there coal ash content between 10 to 12 % If you figure out how many lbs of coal your burning . Then weigh the ash tube subtract the tube
weight. Take that Number and divide it in to the coal weight you will have your ash content %

The feed rate will only determine how much TIME it takes to fill the ash bucket. I burned Blaschak last year, every 200 pounds of coal I emptied the ash bucket. It wasn't full but you don't want to wait too long or you have a dusty mess. The bucket will hold 400# worth of coal ash but that will be topped off. A trick on the EFM to prolong the ash removal is to take the ash pan out, remove the guide, then grab all the ash that is sitting on the base lip above the ash pan. Once the EFM is clean with no ash it can re-accumulate in there and save you a trip outside. I do that when I go on vacation, I can burn 600# of coal and not have to empty the ash pan if I start with a clean base. Be warned that it stirs up dust when you fool with the ashes so send the wife shopping first.
