Gotta hand it to you Dev. Spoken like a true liberal Dem. Your & my great grandkids will help pay off the 347billion in interest between now and 2020. $347,000,000,000 interest alone. ( I'm good for my share, and you? ) $1,000,000,000,000+ will be spread out among the masses. How many more greedy people will profit from this?

What money? We don't have any money.

If I convince a bank to loan me a million dollars, does that make me a millionaire?

No one ever borrowed their way out of debt, and no one ever taxed their way to prosperity.

The Fed just auctioned off $30 billion in notes a few days ago and another $40 billion yesterday. That's $70 billion we just borrowed.

Are you familiar with the Weimar Republic?

OK...but first we'll have to pay off the billions that you conservative Republicans have weighted me & my grandkids down with to pay for the mistake you made in Iraq. (At least we will be paying off something that was actually beneficial to this entire country & not just great for Exxon-Mobil)

If they think we can spend our way out of this mess, why don't they just get rid of the counterfeiting laws and we can print money at home from our computers. The nightmare would be over in a week. :D

Yes, and there are lots of dollars out there right now. All the money given to the banks that they are refusing to lend. So BHO's answer is cram more money down their throats. Eventually, the dam will break and we'll be in a flood of dollars.

And then we'll need a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread, if there is any bread to be had.

We already know the governments course of action won't work, but they are doing it anyway.

An additional tax per word. I have no doubt you would support this if it were pitched to you by your favorite politician.

As of now on E-Bay Silver Eagles are selling for $18.50 If they don't stop spending money like drunken sailors, we will be in the Weinmar Republic. Just remember folks, gold and silver are never worth nothing. a dollar bill can be used for toilet paper but gold and silver will always be money. Always have, always will. P.S. Obama is nothing more than Bush on steroids. Spending money like he doesn't care of the consiquences. Obama wants the Repulicans on board on the spending so when it fails, the Democrats don't have all the blame. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. How come (the American people) is not one of the choices, I don't trust either of them today.

I have to laugh at the poll. Who do you trust? You are kidding right? A new President ( an unknown) or a group of the
usual suspects( who help put us in this mess). As far as polls go, this one is pretty beat.

This stimulus package is baloney. Most of the money doesn't even get out of the government doors until mid 2010. Most of it is pork for pet projects and it mainly expands bureaucracy. The three million jobs are mostly make work jobs.

It's a government bureauacracy stimulus package, not an economic stimulus package.

I didn't want the last package. I don't want this package. It's all government bull.

The pols aren't doing their jobs. Their job right now is to sit down and shut up. They need to start thinking about what laws they should reverse. They should be thinking about what agencies they can fold up.

I would say, they should start listening to the people but the people don't how to think anymore. They are a bunch of brainwashed morons. This country as a free state is finished.

Welcome to the most socialistic country in the world-- the USA.

Dev, don't you know a good war helps the economy? That 12bil you keep speaking of paid salaries to many workers who are now loosing jobs cause the war is close to an end. And one more thing, why are there Iranians and Iraqis killing our boys? If they wanted us to leave, wouldn't they let us be and we'd leave on our own? There's more to Iraq occupation than meets the eye. Could it be ...oil. Currently $1.85 per gal here. How bout in MA? Either way we paid. At the pump and or for aircraft, bombs & humvees. Get over it.
