Who Do You Trust?

Does the new President have better/newer ideas than the Congressional Republican?

I started a separate thread in Flame Central for those that want an uninhibited discussion. Should We Follow President Obama Or Congress's Republicans?

That is why we are in this mess, all these great ideas. The ones that will get us out of this are not an option in your poll, you need one that says employee/taxpayer.

Until we have a stripped down version of government, something along the lines of a model A or T that will do what it's supposed to do at an affordable price, nothing will ever change. I can't believe that the so called men that put us in this position are still there and still have the power to even give out more money. This is nuts. How did that saying go " just say NO". If you haven't figured it out by now here is a hint, the government is to big to fail, get it now. We don't tell them, they tell us and boy do we listen good and open our pockets wide, I didn't even know mine were so big, oh thats right it's not my pockets there digging in it's my kids and grandkids.
I'm saying it like it should be said. The next time somebody wants to go to war they better be able to blow the whole dang place into orbit or don't get started. And what is this with Pakistan come on we are either friends or we are not and if not well hmmm. What happened to your either with us or your against us. Should not of went to war anyway.
And one other thing, get your money out of the market and put it into something thats a sure winner, yep thats right just north of Las Vegas set up a little trailer and make all you can.

I hear you but I think trust is a stong word. I trust my parents to care for my children when I take my wife to dinner. I trust my employer to send me a check every two weeks after I give them work. I trust my 11 year old lab to protect my kids and have done so since they were all born. I trust my wife to love me and be faithful to me. I trust (have faith in...) my God to protect my family and forgive me of my sins. I trust myself with the guns that I own.

I don't trust Obama. It's nothing personal. I don't trust Arlen Spector (R). I don't trust Bob Casey Jr.(D). I don't trust Rich Alloway(R). I don't trust Will Tallman(R). I don't trust Ed Rendell(C). I don't trust Ben Bernenke(?). I don't trust Hillary Clinton(C). There's not enough band width on this server to name them all. But here's a few from PA and recent national headlines.

The only thing lower than a politician is the news media. If you really do trust Obama then fall in. Have at 'er.

I myself find that I'm growing more angry and cynical by the day. Trust is too strong of a word.

I didn't agonize over what word to use in the poll title.

I merely wanted to see a comparison of who the forum members here believe more, or have faith in, so you can choose your own word if you like. I am probably one of the least trusting people you will ever meet & am a firm believer in R. Reagan's "Trust....But Verify" rule, but still am not so cynical that I have no HOPE.
Interesting to me is that, (granted I just posted the poll tonight) this forum is leaning towards trusting the Republicans in Congress over President Obama by almost a 2 to 1 margin. (8 to 5) which is almost the reverse of the national election results.

In God we Trust, all others pay cash.

The people in here are do it yourself types. Dont tell me how to live my life. This surprises you?

Time to pay the piper for all those groups who committed to vote for BO. This stimulus package is nothing more than a huge spending package. Remember all those promises at the Dem convention speech? This is a very stressful topic for me. I'd be better off shutting up now.
