Where's the stimulus?

Filed my taxes today, no mention of any kind of tax break or stimulus for the poor folk. Basically no change from last year. What gives?

When they figure out how they are going to throw some more money away, they will send us a check from what is left.

You're not poor, you filed your taxes. The stimulus checks are for those who don't work, just another glorified name for welfare :P

They're not going to be able to legislate it until 2010, when man-made global warming puts Wall Street under 300 feet of sea water. You know, when we're all getting along splendidly with Islamic Jihad, and when they're done providing free abortions to all the foreign countries. Right about the time we're all forced to drive Prius cars.

To answer the initial question the Stimulus in question is a $500 Worker Credit. While this won;t be ready for tax season you can expect a $500 check if you filed a return in 2008 or you can claim in on your 2009 return. The $500 represent an abandopment of tax on workers first $5,000 in income.

Your children and thier children are very grateful that they will be paying back that $500 you will get for 100 years. HA

We are all screwed....

Don't worry the effects will trickle down on all of us.

Read it and weep > http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldne ... l-out.html

Whats that? The bonusus were larger then the bailout we handed them

Firing off a smoking Email to all my reps. We need accountibility.

I wonder what the entire welfare budget in the USA is?
I bet this figure is nothing compaired to the Biggest welfare payment ever made. The Bailout.

Funny look where this guy used to be CEO. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Paulson

Smell any rats yet?

My Friend if you look at how many of the current governers or senators worked for Goldman you would be angrier then you are now. Politics can be summed up like this.

Earn lots of money, buy lots of votes, become a governer or senator, spend lots of other peoples money. One of the easiest ways to earn money for years was at Goldman.

Hey at least Obama picked a man to replace Paulson he'll be great for the economy. Perhaps since he forgot to pay his taxes for 4 years he will do better?
