IN my work, I often get a lot of phone calls from what I am sure are otherwise intelligent people asking for things like phone numbers, specs, and other asst minutiae that is readily available via google. In fact, if I'm feeling jovial and helpful, I look it up on Google while saying something similar.

if I'm not feeling helpful, I'll usually spell out G-O-O-G-L-E when someone confuses me with a 411 operator - but only after asking them if they have a pencil handy to write it down .
