New Stove. Next Project

Hey hey! I found this advertised in the local newspaper & took a chance. What are those 3/4" pipe fittings in the rear? Oh, yes, a water jacket! It's an Atlanta, model 194 comfort. Anyone know more about it than I do?

Nice find Now yo can cook your food and make you hot water to all you need is a storage tank

Some of the full size coal fired kitchen stoves & oven had hot water tanks built onto the backs sides and some hung from
the ceiling Both of my Grandparents had kitchen stove with a hot water tank on them . Sears made the tanks for them .
These places have some parts for Atlanta stoves don't know if your model is listed .

That's pretty neat. Now you can have a mini boiler and operate it when your AA isn't running. That stove is something like the Bucket A Day idea I've been toying with. Nice find and you can cook on it too!

What you have there is a Laundry Heater. Some of these have flattened sides around the barrel to place flat irons on for warming up.

Keep it up, Freddie and you'll be going from a "girlie-man" to a 'chestnut burner' in less that one short season!
Talk about technology taking a backseat to no one...just SE of Bangor. Your back won't forget what you are going to do with it............remember the surgery? the recovery? The limitations? The pain? Heck, you might as well get an 'AGA stove' for the kitchen and a 5 ton HS TARM Multi-fuel for the garage. Poor AA, she's gonna get lonely if you keep fooling around with these 'older ladies' from America past.
