I currently design and develop Credit Writeup and Approval software for a major regional bank.

In the past I was a Consultant IV for Digital Equipment Corporation. My specialties were Vax Cluster Performance and Capacity Planning and Manufacturing systems.

I like it that we have a nuke jockey burning anthracite.

When oros35 switches over to heating with the juice he's making, I want to hear about it!

I had a Grey myself. It hated me. Would bite through my shirts and skin. Then I started thinking: This stupid bird is going to be alive when my grandchildren are retired ! I gave it away.

And, so it is. After 3 years of being self employed I'm going back to health care full-time starting next week. I'll be sterilizing surgical instruments which is what I did for 23 years. This time I am only in charge of myself however. No more management for me. It has taken almost 2 months since I first started this process, including 4 interviews totaling 10 hours, to get this job. I was also there this past Friday for another 4 hours getting blood work, drug tested and a physical which revealed I can't see or hear too well. I'll still be doing the machinist/gunsmith stuff on a limited basis. I can't give that up because I do enjoy it . Just doesn't "pay" enough and the benefits kinda stink as well.
