This post was inspired by the "pics of my home bar" thread. I know many of us have dogs so I'd thought I'd share the best $50.00 I ever spent on my dogs. We have two large dogs and having them bathed is VERY expensive and bathing them outside is not an option half of the year. We gave them baths in one of the bath tubs several times and it was back breaking. One day I was at Home Depot and they had a tub outside with a scratch and dent tag for $50.00. I snapped it up and built this frame to mount it on. the dogs jump on the chair and then into the tub. Only one customer at a time. I installed a hand shower with a shut off valve. It works great and no back ache.

At this point I can bathe her in the sink but that is not going to last for long.

Too cool! What a great idea if you have the room.

Hmmmm.... I think....I know.... my dogs would jump from the chair to out the window. LOL Once in the tub the are good as gold, but when it's bath time you'd think they just heard they were guilty of murder. They'll find hiding places. With the older one we can't even spell b-a-t-h any more.

Nice setup ,winter is allways a hard time for dog baths, since summer baths are outside in the grass with the hose.

guess I got lucky with our dog, she loves baths, all you have to do is open the shower curtain and she jumps right in the tub, she even goes in the tub just to sit there, but she is part lab and loves the water

As you point out - I do have to watch my back bending like that -

But the old guy could never navigate the path yours still can.

Great idea!!!!
