How Do You Carry Your Cellphone?
I used to have a permanent car mount for my old cell, which recently bit the dust & they no longer make a phone to fit it.
So.........I just upgraded to a new cell which is a small flip phone with a built in camera. (which I may use on my insurance survey jobs) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UWH87Q/ref=s ... d_i=507846
Here's my problem: It's so damned small that it's easy to lose! I had it in a shallow jacket pocket today & thought I lost it doing some errands. Turns out, it fell out of my pocket & was lodged under the car seat.
I rarely use it but like to take it with me on surveys which are often way off the beaten track in Cape Cod.
Anyone have an easy way to carry one of these things without having it fall out of a pocket?

I keep mine in a leather pouch always in my left front pocket if it's with me. But I get "phantom vibrations", I think I feel it ringing a lot. A lot of people get that. Sometimes I wonder why I don't just throw it in the woods! Beautiful women don't call me, just cheap idiots demanding odd jobs.
I keep my wallet in my right front pocket for the last 29 years, ever since I lost it on the roof of a boss I had. Also pickpocket safer that way. Not that there's anything in it anymore....

What ever pocket is free, or in center console in the car.

I have made three custom cell phone holders for customers that go on their belt. A Velcro tab keeps them safe from the elements and loss. They cost about $25 to make.

the blackberry came with a leather case
I carry mine in my front pocket or back pocket. Wallet always in front pocket. I randomly loose both of them all the time by leaving them in odd places around the house, at work, or in my car. Drives my girlfriend nuts that I don't worry when I lose them. "They'll turn up soon enough", I say - and they always do.
