WOW,
2nd week with my new AHS 130 boiler and still can not believe the comfort and ease of this system!!! Never burned coal, alot of wood and there is no comparison in the ease of it all.
Wake up in the morning, thinking the fire is low or out, go down and she is just heating away with no effort at all. And it has been cold!! Now I know why some of you say your wifes are jealous of your coal stoves cause you go down all the time to fix it. Plus I named it Cindy after a friend of ours, cause she's hot!!!! that helps. hehehe.
Love it and thanks for all the info here.
Rich.
New AHS 130 up and Running.

Don't expand your horizons too much. Look at Freddie......."his, Cindy, wind turbines, 'solenoids from hell' , 'bi-metal old time hand feds', and now the 'sheep'. Is Maine where 'men are men and sheep are scared?'............seems that was a couple of states to the west as I remember.
Enjoy the new found warmth on these cold winter days! Anthracite; it's what cooks dinner!

Congrats as well! I also am new to coal, used to burn wood... the 'ease' of wood is laughable next to coal! I too have a name for my boiler - given to her by my wife, but it fits... ASHley. She is a beautiful thing...
