Which current model does the stove resemble?
The only choices of that era were econo 1, hyfire, pocono, and pioneer.
I have a pioneer with a serial # 5345
Jerry may be along shortly to help with the ID.

Probably a Hyfire I like mine. It has a 40K and 90K burners. (about 130K BTU output). Thats sounds like a good price. I think I paid that for my Hyfire and I immediately bought the CoalTrol for it and removed the rheostats on it. It works great! :) New, they are like $2500-3000.

Found out yesterday stove is a HYFIRE 110,manufactured 1999,only had 2 ton of coal run thru it. :?: Still wondering about asking price $950.00 and what ill effects of sitting around for that many years unused. Thanks for any input would be appreciated.

probably a bit rusty on the inside, no big deal, as long as the motors, stokers and blowers all work or maybe just need a good cleaning (typical). If you are handy, they probably should be removed and cleaned anyway before you use it. I went thru mine real good and only had to replace the combustion blower after the first season. Every season the stoves should be cleaned and lubed anyway.

make a lower offer and see what what happens.

Jerry from Leisure Line (On here) is really good with any parts you might need.
