President Gore has issued a mandate banning bicycles. This has drawn some opposition from the sheeple but most of the protesters have mysteriously vanished.
It seems the rubber on bicycle tires slowly erodes and will destroy the Earth by 2019 unless drastic action is taken. Also, the consensus of scientists at Theskyisfalling Institute, is that lubricating oil on bicycle chains can drip off, causing discomfort to worms.
President Gore was unavailable for comment, as he is working on a new law requiring citizens to hold their breath for two minutes on every breath as a way of reducing deadly carbon dioxide emissions.

Makes me want to start my 20 year old gas guzzling farm truck and let it idle just for the hell of it. Ahhh, nothing like the smell of hydrocarbons in the morning.

I can buy LEADED gas in the Philippines for 36.14 a litre. I can buy unleaded gas in the Philippines for 36.45 per litre. I can buy a BRAND NEW car in the Philippines with a carberator. No catalitic converter, no seatbelts, no airbags, no nothing. Kia, Hundai, and Nissan sell cars like that. Almost nobody uses unleaded gas over there. Hey Al, gets go for a ride. We'll take your private jet!

Might be a perfect year to put my '72 El Camino back on the road!
