There was a thread a few months ago about it, you might try the search feature. I have used the Biasi for both wood and coal. I would suggest using coal in this boiler. I have been in contact with the manufacturer this month and they tell me the shaker grates will be available for this heating season. That remains to be seen but I was still able to get through the season burning nut and stove size coal in this boiler.
