Idle time is the devil's playground

I have not worked in five days. Hope and change we can believe in. I have been able to find detailed instructions on how to make serious explosives such as 300 grams of flash powder that will blow a hole in the ground up past your knees. mixing potassium with water, magnesium burning then adding water. There is a whole lot more out there than what took me 5 min to discover. WOW!!!!!!!

Better watch what you say. The change you can believe in might not include spying on the coal boards. You know he wants to get rid of coal and he might find good reason with what you are discussing.

What I found is on the most popular web site there is after the coal forum. You can find just about anything on that site. toothy They give step by step instructions with items that are readily available from the big auction site on the internet. Who needs the Anarchists' cookbook!!

Yeah, I know all about too much time to "research". I am going later today for my third interview at the same place for the same job in a week. And I have over twenty years of experience in this particular field.

I'm kissing the asses of the rich people I work for. My pride level has gone way down. I've never hesitated to jump ship, but now I'm glad I have a port in this storm.

I don't know what to think after seeing the pro-coal commercial with the big Barry campaign speech excerpt. " We put a man on the moon in ten years, there's no reason we can't develop clean coal..." something like that.

I taped a firecracker to a butane refill canister once and ran like hell. It blew up and released a big white misty cloud of butane. I should have had a small fire going next to it, it didn't ignite!

I am home because of company. There is just no work. People are not buying cars. Friday my company laid off 50 drivers. :( One was a good work friend. I am 98 out of 253 minus the 50 = 203 left. At least they are doing it by seniority. The real question is should I stay there and hope (there's that hope word again) it will get busy, or should I find another job? Do you guys need a fireman yet? my leg is completely healed and I can shovel coal all day.

You guys need to find a more constructive pastime. You'll soon be snorting 'C-4' and going off the deep end!
I know the work situation has us all with our fingers crossed.........who's next. I have always wondered what those cool car haulers carried. I knew it was upscale, but until I read your profile I never knew who piloted those shiny trucks.
As I remember, they were Mercers, went like hell, fully loaded uphill, so here has to be some horsepower within. Unusual trailers, but that is the engineering I guess. A class act any way you look at it.

I drive a 2003 International 8300 with a 350 Cummins and a 10 speed. Trust me, you don't want to be behind me on a hill. A car carrier is as aerodynamic as a parachute. Combine that with a tiny motor and you have the slowest truck on the road.
