He's a PREACHER!!!

Don't get sucked in. You can go to any church in the country on any Sunday and find someone who speaks like he does.

He's a snake oil salesman. A huckster. Don't be a victim.

Jeff, that is so funny. It's good to laugh in times like these! I have actually considered when I have a positive reaction to him; "Am I just a sucker?"

I'm not laughing. I think he is dangerous. Doing the wrong thing now is as bad as it gets. And I think everything he has done so far is the wrong thing.

And where did you hear me say the other guy was right or better? Am I to understand that the answer to $700 billion in wasteful spending is $850 billion in wasteful spending? The solution to more troops in Iraq is more troops in Afganistan? And all the talk about depressions but not one word about reducing the size and cost of government. BHO is not the savior of this country. He is one more nail in it's coffin.

I think we should all just stick our heads in the sand & do nothing. Don`t worry the econmy is sound, give the fat cats mo money & they will give the third world countries mo jobs. It will solve the illegals coming into the country, they will all be heading back for jobs. The only problem I see with the stimulis package is way too much disclosure. Make it just like the wall street bail-out, keep it a secret-don`t account for any of it, they will spend like drunken fools & create good scraps for the pore Americans. It`s worked for 8 years. Why stop now?

Jeff,
I can either cry or laugh. I hope this preacher can lead the flock.
I read a story about a group of Marines sitting around in a circle, on volcanic barren rocky soil, in one of the Pacific campaigns. A mine or a mortar shell went off and blew the arms and legs off a soldier, killing him instantly and hurtling him up in the air. The torso landed right in the lap of one of the sitting Marines. They all broke out in hysterical laughter; at the absurdity of the situation. That was my kind of laughter at your comment, too. No offense intended at all.
I'm so burned out on partisan politics, I'm a common citizen trying to survive, trying to be grateful for what I have. I'm thinking about things I have taken for granted my whole life in the good ole USA. I'll give the guy a chance, but I'm gonna get my rototiller running soon and plan my 'survival garden' too.

How many lies do you have to tell to be a liar  BO's been in office about 2 months and broken 90% of his promises  But then again we do have our heads in the sand. BO seemed a little angry and seem to ramble at times last night and he never did say where the moneys coming from. Remember it took Bush 8 years to do what BO's going to do in 2 months and not only that with interest it will quadruple kind makes you proud to be a democrat.

Well just off the phone after calling my Senators office my Representatives office and my Lawyers office. I told them all that what should take place is that the government at this time should create a bank that has to follow the rules that were laid out for all banks with the money from our tax dollars, not a bad bank and not a good bank, but a competitive bank. It will pay interest on deposits it will make loans. However it will not pay a bank manager a whopping billion to leave in a week. It will not pay for a trip to Vegas or the call girls and doctors.
I feel what is needed is a very sound competitive bank. Why don't they create it and see what it would do ? Is it not what free enterprise is about. If something is not done quick I am going to stop paying my taxes so that a bunch of dumb asses can make more money doing what they have done for the last 8 years. (I still have not seen one of those high priced *censored* loose there job)

He's been in office LESS THAN ONE MONTH!

That's enough time for him to have fixed all our problems though, right!?!? :no1: :box: :hammer: bop2 :rambo:
(You'll jut have to get used to dealing with a President who understands complex things, listens to all sides, doesn;'t gget irritated by every question at Press conferences, & talks in something beyond empty, macho soundbites.)
