Straubs is one I like but haven't had in a long time. Usually drink the cheap stuff Busch Light, Miller Light. Also like Rolling Rock.

Amen brother Mike!

When I clean my townhouse in the Poconos after vacation rental tenants leave I get all kinds of free beer, sometimes it's Keystone light (yech) like last weekend and sometimes its high end beer (got a case after new years plus a 2 litre of Stoli unopened). :)

Living just a few miles from Bell's Brewing in Kalamazoo, MI. I like Larry Bells Porter the best. Not to far away in Lawton, MI is the Top Hat Brewery Tom Fullers signature Lugnut Brown ale is really outstanding. For my store bought lager I love Fosters. Cheers all. :)

Nowhere did I mention that you were limited to your favorite. That's marriage in the Judeo-Christian world. I asked what your favorite was. The beer you'd grab if you had the world's selection at your fingertips. Which beer are you reaching for first?

I am a fan of good lagers and pilseners. Doesn't mean that I don't grab and IPA or Bass now-and-then. Me likey the black & tan (just don't order one in a real Irish bar in South Boston or any pub in Ireland).

Oh, and I'm also a huge fan of the Penn Brewery on the N. Side in the City of Champions. I'd pay Tom to live there as long as he made his brewmaster teach me.

When I reach into the world's cooler the forst thing I come out with is likely Pilsener Urquell! The world's finest true pilsener from those 14th century open fermentation vats. After that I could see myself sampling the finest Abbey Beers from the low countries.

Now your talking, although I'll take Chimay or other Abby Brew over the Pilsner, just my prefence, no disrespect to Urquell.
