Manual for a Brunco Hearthglow insert says to burn bituminous coal. Does that mean I can't burn anthracite? I live in a suburb where smoke/soot would be an issue, hence the desire to burn anthracite.

had a hearthglow many years ago at timr seemed well built burned all bit and huge amounts of wood in it heated 2 story farm house a large mud room with it but the underfire draft control sucked on it allways had problems with it a lot of heat with the wood but would not burn coal as it should have //// there again it was classed as a coal only and it sucked as that .burned w. virginia coal .kentucky and southern oh. coal in it and really didnt do its job ..just my experiance with that stove !!
