installed a reconditioned 520 4 weeks ago.thanks to this great forum,its fantastic heating about 2000sq.ft.no problems at all.just playing with the settings. my wife thinks i;m having an affair with it.she doesnt see me much anymore.

At 2000 Sq Ft. that 520 is at idle most of the time They don't start working hard until about 8000 or more Sq Ft .
try 3 teeth 7.5 lbs Per Hr. 4 to 4.5 Air less coal being used and more complete burn of coal depending on what coal you are using less or more Air & Feed My be Required. Have fun with the new toy ;)

Congrats Paul. Coalberner is right about it being in idle. I've been heating my 2200 sq ft house this season with a 520. It's running barely above idle (4 teeth) on the coldest day. This is the warmest our house has ever been and probably the least amount of money I've ever spent on heat. You're gonna love your 520.
