Hand Fed Coal Stove: Hitzer 30-95

Post by smokeyCityTeacher » Fri. Dec. 04, 2009 11:22 pm

I was surprised how well I can control the wood burn n the 30-95.
Infinitely superior to Vogelzang box wood stove and the Hitzer is not even optimized for wood.

If I open up the ash pan door however - it will roar llke like my windy boxwood stove and eat thru logs like candy.
Im using the wood to super heat it and cure the paint while the weather is nice enough to have all the doors and window open.
The blower works great and heat pours off this thing.

I really had intended to get a "Luxury Liner" Pocono stoker but for $$ reasons have to wait till next year and save a few more paychex.
Bought the Hitzer on a whim to get me thru this year and I am really thrilled with it.
