Started the fire chief last night was 42 degrees here this morning. Here are a few from my fire chief this morning with stove coal.

The other morning it was 50 in the house so I cranked mine up. It's hard to type when you can't feel your fingers. I have the boiler on all the time for the DHW but it took about 10 minutes to really get blazing hot for heat mode.

Maybe this is silly, but I was out checking on the ol' AA 130 and was sort of mesmerized by the torch-like essence of the fire hidden behind the little swinging door.
Could you post pics of your fires? I know this is in the "stoker" forum but it doesn't matter what you burn or how it feeds... what does your fire look like? Of course if you're burning oil in a Burnham boiler, the photo will be a little hard to get!
This is what I call "warm and fuzzy".
