I've tied this using some various parameters in the URL available in Moderators Control panel. As far as I can see There is no way to extract the entire length of thread. My guess is because its to preserve server resources. I've seen threads on other forums that have run into the thousands of replies and I'd imagine pulling that out of database would kill a server. At the very least you'd be able to kill it making numerous requests at once.

Anyhow the best advice I can give you is to go to use the print option for each page (assumming you don't want to save the pictures in thread). At the top on menu bar on either the print page or the regular page select File >> "Save As" From the drop down box (the exact text will vary here by browser) select "Web Page Complete" if yyou want to preserve the formatting or plain text if you only want the text.

You can open either of these files in Word or any other text editors. Note that if you select HTML the program will have to support HTML. Opening a HTML document in notepad will just just give you the source code...

Once you save all the pages you can open each and edit them however you want to remove the extra text you do want and other things. I will note that trying to edit the HTML version in Word will probably be a nightmare...

I'll put it on my ever growing to-do list to look for some better options that can be done server side.
