Kane family from Phoenixville.

Kane family from Phoenixville.

I just started researching family genealogy using Ancestry.com for the first time since 2004. I am searching for my paternal grandmother who was Helen Ursuline Kane.

She was either from Chambersburg Ward 2 Franklin County Pennsylvania or Phoenixville in Chester County which may make more sense since she met my grandfather who was an engineer on the New York Central RR. Phoenixville is much closer to Ossining where they were living in 1930.

Does anyone ever search for ancestors or by chance be related to a Kane from that area?

My grandmothers father may have been John J Kane and lived in Phoenixville as late as 1930 according to the census.

I grew up in Kimberton Pa. only 5 miles from Phoenixville. I don't reconize the name though.
