Not sure what state, didn't look at it that closely, I would think Texas. I have seen this before, know your rights and know the law. When you do you can say no to them, notice they backed down. They did because they know what there doing is not legal.

A great start is flex your rights, google it, much to learn there..

Remember it's not about illegal's, safety or anything else they tell you. It's about control. Be a citizen or be a subject, the choice is there..

Well I havn't seen anything like it on the Canadian border thats for sure. But I did run afoul of the Penn. State Police awhile back driving a Penkse rental truck.

Hey Grumpy what is your point? You don't even say where you're from in your profile. How many illegals did you see threatening your livelyhood yesterday?

Look at the statistics in Southern California and what has happened to our society there. It is being literaly destroyed by lax liberal immigration-non policies. It's bankrupting the state and turning LA and Ca. into a third world cesspool. Militant La Raza is claiming Reconquista. They are the ones who ignore our constitution That's when citizen's rights are also totally destroyed so there's two sides to the story.

As a citizen, you have a certain duty to comply with the police; otherwise how can law and order be maintained.

In real life I mouthed off to a cop in NJ and got my truck impounded. It was what I considered a heinous roadblock myself. It was a spot vehicle inspection with a bunch of thug cops. Driving is considered a privelege in NJ, I had a cracked windshield and expired registration. I didn't like it one bit, and I'm certain they were doing that to generate income for their municipality. That's what I told the cop in a raised voice. Then I spent the rest of the day getting a taxi and renewing my registration and paying my fines.

Liberal logic once again:

" I demand my absolute rights under the constitution!"

" I like to throw away my rights in favor of illegals!"

If it was about CONTROL & POLICE STATES--the kid would've been hauled in--I think the video was staged for the crisis oriented people. I'd pretty much guarantee it was meant to represent a border State. Everybody bitch's about illegals, but the whiners cry about methods used. Kevin, Penske trucks been targets since we used to run to Tenn. & Alabama & fill up with pot & bring it back to Penna in the 60's & 70's. Give me some facts??? Dan, when you have two violations & then mouth off to the cops really who's fault is it? I've driven cars that I knew had some problems & I was polite to the cops & got off with a warning twice, the other times the cop didn't look close enough or didn't care. Doesn't always work but it can't hurt, I was even nice to the NY trooper that gave me a ticket even as I wasn't speeding ( glad wife was there, she would have never believed it) & that may be why it got it dropped when I questioned it & asked for a court date.

Pastor Anderson at it again. This guy has made himself a martyr before and will again. Granted, his rights were violated in previous encounters, but there is a certain degree of being combative for the sake of being combative that is ridiculous. If an officer asks you a simple question "are you a citizen?" and does not request paperwork, you can respectfully answer yes and be on your way. This is not a nationwide issue and is more concerning areas with steep illegal immigration issues as well as recent laws passed by the people in those areas to curb them. No doubt, you should always protect your constitutional rights, but pick your battles. No need to pick fights for the sole reason of flexing for the cops and trying to instigate a confrontation.

he sued and won, laws were violated. It does not mean that this is the standard for how things are done.

Don't see anything wrong with asking a simple question. If the goof would have given a simple answer he would have been on his way a lot faster. If that is the kind of thing that it takes to weed out people that don't belong in this country, I'm willing to go along with it.

No grumpy, you are missing the point, along with way to many uninformed fanatics out there on both sides. It was a simple question that deserved a simple answer. If that punk in the video complied with answering the question, as stated above, he would of been on his way. Sometimes it's hard for me to maintain the degree of brotherhood I feel this FORUM deserves when I read some of the nonsense that's posted--Of course brotherhood would & does consist partially of stupid things like completing one's profile--IMHO, you have not nor will you ever be part of that. I don't like people that post & hide behind anonymity in a friendly environment. If your paranoia has goten the best of you, keep it to yourself. Encouraging people to know there rights and the law makes me paranoid? Really Fred, have you not been paying attention to whats going on. Perhaps your Ok having your rights violated. Perhaps you were Ok with the military confiscating firearms in New Orleans after Katrina. The police downloading personal information from peoples smart phones during a traffic stop. Walking down Main Street USA while the pretty new light poles with cameras and microphones watch your every move. Or having random stops and people's cars searched without cause. Undercover TSA rousting people on public buses.

Well I don't. We have the bill of rights but not for much longer if we allow this to continue. I used these video's to show that if you know your rights the police will back down. They are trained to get you to give up your rights without you even knowing it. But thats another story.

It's not about illegals or drunk drivers, it's about liberty and freedom. Perhaps you are willing to roll over, Perhaps you are of the kind that says I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to hide either but I sure as hell have something to protect. If we allow our rights to be trampled on we will no longer have them. The people in the videos are just showing resistance and I applaud that. The subject matter is irrelevant.
