Can the Leopard change its spots? Or should we consider what appears to be the obvious in that he is only masquerading as a conservative.

Mitt has a complex history on everything. When he takes both sides of an issue, depending on when it is most advantageous, it can get complicated for those trying to figure out his true stance.

His stance is pragmatic and that's what we need in a President.

What we need is change in the world view of the people so they will support a Constitutional Libertarian Ideologue who will steer this country away from the fascistic, militaristic, financially reckless, dictatorial, legalistic, economically oppressive, morally bankrupt, destructive, corrupt system this country has morphed into. That will never happen so long as our minds are still stuck in the Democrat/Republican paradigm because they both are beholding to the same corrupt economic power structures. Elect Obama we are screwed. Elect Romney we are still screwed. All that will change is the rhetoric and the speed of "change" for the worse. We are on a toboggan ride to hell and we argue about who is going to steer the toboggan down the mountain, not the fact that the money system itself is fatally flawed and hopelessly corrupt and our society has given up it's moral compass in favor of relativism, or pragmaticism. Compromise erodes principles that should be the foundation of our society. It is a false hope to believe another bought and paid for sociopath is going to "fix it". We have to fix ourselves first and the vast majority are quite happy with the way they are. We WILL get the form of government we deserve as a society and it won't be pretty.

That would be a good con ticket a major draft dodger(seems to be the preference) & a guy that was an AP in peacetime but thinks he served two tours in Iraq.

Yep, ole Bill left the U.S. just like Mitt, one went to school the other a so called religious leadership program, any port in a storm, not a leadership quality that I would look for.
