Control Panel, TOS, Privacy Policy and Rules Changes

The forum rules and terms of service for using this site have been changed slightly and combined into one document. I've added an additional Privacy Policy Document.

These documents can be accessed by clicking the links in the footer, they are also accessible from links to the left on the main page of the User Control Panel.

Addtionally.....

By default when new users registered email features and some other features were set to on. I've changed the registration so that all new registrants have these features set to off. To make sure no one is getting unwanted email I've reset the following preferences for every member to off. These can be found on the under the preferences tab of the user control if you wish to enable them them.

Under the main preferences tab:
Expose my e-mail address to members: yes/no
Setting this to yes will show your email address to members

Subscribe to forum mailing list:yes/no
This is the forum mailing list for mass emails to every forum member, I've used this a total of 0 times. I may use it in the future. If you se this to yes you'll be on the list if I ever use it.

Notify me on new private messages: yes/no
This will email you when you get a new private message.

Under the preferences tab click the "Edit posting defaults" link to the left:
Notify me upon replies by default: Yes/no
When you post a new topic or reply to topic if you set this to yes you will get notifications via email when/if someone replies.
