Harman coal insert

Harman coal insert

PostBy: Marco210 On: Mon Oct 01, 2012 2:53 pm

Hi,
I have aquired a harman coal insert of unknown age or model, I believe it to be a manga fire, however the stove and surround appears different than the ones on Harman's wesite. My question to the board is, was there a model before the magnafire or is this a magnafire with a different surround. Looking in the stove it appears to be simply a mark 3 stuck in the wall. I have tried to contact Harman however they have not got back to me. If it is another model where would I find installation manuals.

Hey Marco, Maybe it's an Italian Harmon (Manga fire) :D Kidding, but Ray is right that Harmon will probably NOT call you back. They don't have a good rep for customer service. Try a dealer that's been selling them for a while or post some pix.

I have a newer MagnaFire and after looking at the Mark 3's you seem to be correct. I think these inserts have been around for quite a while with small cosmetic changes made every so often. In other words, why mess with a good thing?
