WCO trial: Jury says killer deserves to die

Christopher L. Johnson has been sentenced to death by lethal injection.

After nearlyfour hours of deliberating, the jury came back Thursday night with their unanimous verdict against the 29-year-old Carroll Valley man accused of shooting and killing Wildlife Conservation Officer David L. Grove after he pulled him over for poaching deer nearly two years ago.

It's sad that another life will be lost but I have to agree with the sentence, way too many people out there that put no value on another's life.

I don't find it sad at all that this particular life is being terminated. If only our legal system would be consistent in similar cases, no, not because the victim was Fish & Game, and get thier heads out of thier ass's, these punk wanna-be gangsters would realize that there are consequences for ones behavior.

It is not sad at all this punk will be executed. He killed a fellow human over a deer that he poached.

The fact that some bleeding heart limp wristed left leaning pinko's will be shedding tears at his execution 10 years from now is tragic and scary and says volumes about how twisted some people can become. Without diving into the history of the perp I will bet he has a fairly long history of criminal activity as well. All building towards the ultimate crime... MURDER.

The only real sad part in this story is the death of the victim.

You are 100% correct. He was a convicted felon prior to murdering Officer Grove.
