Delivery to northern CT 06096

Does anyone have an idea of what it would cost per ton to have loose coal delivered to northern CT? What would be a minimum tonnage? Right now I get it at $295/ton bagged and I pick it up 5 minutes away.

I just ordered from Lehigh. They do have a minimum tonnage requirement which is 20 tons. But, it is $150 a ton plus $33 a ton delivery charge to my local in central CT. I'm getting 25 tons.

LEHIGH ANTHRACITE

Not sure how quality is but if past practice is accounted for it looks promising. I will post on the arrival of the coal and the burn I get in my Axeman.

Bootstrap, being right up I-91 I don't think the delivery charge would me much more than my quote of $33.

Question? your sig says you're in Eastern Ct. ( I'm North East in Canterbury ) but you buy in Central CT. So you're have 25tons delivered to a store and your picking it up from there..do I have that right?

I never said I was in Middletown. That map I got of internet came like that. You just assumed so. Tsk, Tsk,.. and they call your neck of the woods the quiet corner. Yea, right! I work over there. A lot of weirdos!!! Not you of course though.

No, I've not actually bought from there (although Manny the owner filled me in on Stokers and such). His bulk prices seemed OK but his bagged were way up there.

My main purchases are CSM in Munson Mass. or Mainline in Ashford Ct. both are about the same drive time and the their prices are w/in $5 a ton or so. Ashford has Blashak and CSM bags their own 50lbs er's.

Sounds to me you got's a great supplier out your way.

But the only star that was "white" was middltown...sorry bout that. So where the hell are you then? and where are you getting your Coal? My biggest customer is in Berlin so I'm out that way at least once a week, anywhere close to there?

Ed, you're looking a little too deep into this. When I typed 'local' I meant location. The delivery is coming right to my house, in Central/Easternish Connecticut. Considering CT is rather small, I'm sure to go to Windsor Locks, where Bootstrap is wouldn't be much more at all.
