I fabricated a spin type draft control in the place where the flap was. This thing has kept temperature of 325-350 all day. No problems. I really appreciate everybody's kindness and willingness to help me.
I'm puzzled???? You already have manual air control in the front ash door. Why would you need two manual air controls. I agree with Rob R, somthing needed to be tweeked. I can dial the stove down to 250 degrees and keep my house at 72. Thanks, y'all.
