I came across this photo- heat exchanger?

I found this photo on google and it struck my interest. It looks like some sort of heat exchanger and almost like a radiator at the same time. anyone ever seen one like this?

also that bottom 6' oval to round looks good. Anyone come across any oval to round cast iron adapters lately?

Takes some additional heat from the flue gas before losing the heat up the stack. They are still around.

Ah Dennis this made my night! I see the listing has ended on eBay though so I hope te guy making them still is! I want to buy two!

Sure looks better than the modern boxes they sell. Any specific name for that type?
